Where is the church located?
The Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church is located at 5950 Montgomery Road, on the corner of Lester Road in Pleasant Ridge. The parking lot is off Lester Road. In addition, we are on bus route #4.
What if I have trouble walking?
The church has handicapped access to the main floor and the basement. There are several handicapped access parking spots near the entrance.
What time are the services?
Every Sunday at 8:30 am in the chapel, a service with communion is held. Scripture and sermon parallel the later service, but there is no choir. At 10:30 am, worship is held in the sanctuary. It includes a children's message and music by the choir.
What do I wear?
Dressy, casual is the most common wear but it varies from nice jeans to dressy.
Where do I park?
The parking lot is off Lester Road, just around the corner from Montgomery Road. You may park anywhere in the lot or on the street.
Where do I enter the church?
The entrance is off the parking lot at the back of the church.
Where do I go when I get inside?
A greeter will assist you in finding the sanctuary where the service will be held.
What do I do with my children?
Children are welcome in the service. There are activity bags available for them. They may participate in the children's moment. There is babysitting for the babies through kindergarten age.
How do I know what to do in the service?
You will receive a bulletin with all the information for you to easily participate in the service. Hymnals and Bibles are located on the backs of the pews. Hearing assistance devices, large print bulletins and hymnals may be requested from an usher. Wheelchair accessible pews are available on each side of the sanctuary.
What happens after the service?
Everyone is invited to the gymnasium for coffee, punch, donut holes and fellowship. This is a good way to meet members of the church.
What if I want to talk to the pastor?
He is available at the back of the church after the service. He will greet you there.
