About Us

Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me". Our desire is to find ways to reveal Jesus' teachings to our surrounding community. Our church believes in the Holy Trinity, the Life, Death & Resurrection of Christ, and that Christ will one day return to receive his believers.

Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church has a treasured history spanning over 200 years. We offer two Sunday worship services. Our 8:30 a.m. service worships in our chapel offering communion every Sunday. Our 10:30 a.m. is a traditional service held in our sanctuary, which includes communion the first Sunday of each month.

In addition to our worship services, PRPC serves our immediate, local and international communities through the following programs: Presbyterian Women, award winning and Ohio state recognized nursery school, Thursday evening prayer service, outstanding chancel choir, Deacons, home communions, P.W. Circles, Men's Metallic club, Youth Group, Senior Adult Group, Interfaith Hospitality Network, GLAD House, Caring Place, Pleasant Ridge Elementary School partner, Boy Scout troop, Holiday Bazaar, semi-annual rummage sales, Memorial Day picnic, Vacation Bible School, "Ridge Day", flowers to shut-ins and CAKE computer program for kids.

Our church supports Mzuzu Malawi Missionaries, World Medical Relief, One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost Offering, and disaster relief kits. In the past we have raised funds to build a one room church in South Africa. Additionally, our youth participate in the 30 Hour Famine Relief as well as mission trips for disaster relief.
