NEWS: Click here for a flyer about the Presbyterian Women's retreat.

All women of the church are welcome to participate in our activities.  Our motto for the year is "Above and Beyond - Hearing God’s Call to Serve Faithfully and Give Honor”

Regular business meetings are held at the church at 10: 30 a.m. on the first Thursday of October, December, April and May.  Fellowship programs to be held in 2008 are:

  • The Mother-Daughter-Sister dinner on Wednesday, April 2, at 6:30 PM.
  • The Birthday Luncheon at Noon on Thursday, May 1.
  • The PW Picnic on Thursday, June 5 at 6:30 PM.
  • The Presbyterian Women’s Retreat will be held on Saturday, April 12.

Five Circles meet regularly, with times to meet varied schedules:  mornings, at noon and evenings.  Varied programs, refreshments, and mission projects, in addition to fellowship, are provided. A monthly Bible Study Group is held on the third Tuesday of the month at10 a.m.

Volunteer  opportunities:

Mission Sewing: The Kemper Sewing Group meets on the third Monday morning of each month at church to sew for missions and Children's Hospital.

Martha's Meals: At a time of death in a family, upon request, a simple meal for the bereaved family is provided. This may be served at church or at the family's home.

Salvation Army Dolls: These dolls are given at Christmas time to needy little girls through the Salvation Army Christmas Store. Volunteers are needed to dress and prepare the dolls.

Annual Bazaar:   The Bazaar will be held on Tuesday, November 11 in the evening and Wednesday, November 12 (10 am - 3 pm).  In preparation, workshops for crafts and sewing are held weekly during the year at church and work can be done at home.

Rummage Sales: Two sales are held each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Volunteers are always needed to help sort, arrange and sell items.   Profits from the Bazaar and rummage sales go to mission causes. In 2007, $14,050 went to community and world grants.

An annual Presbyterian Women's Yearbook listing the year's events and circle activities and membership is available at church.
